My Go To Casual Outfit

We all need that go to outfit when we are out and about. This one I have chosen today can be super versatile!

My day look is skinny jeans, a gray tee, and a plaid shirt wrapped around my waist. I like it because it hides my love handles.

Turn this in to a night look with a dark jean, black tank or graphic tee and heels. Add the extra rock factor and add a leather jacket on top! Motorcycle jackets and plaid shirts are always a win win. And don't be afraid to wear a brown jacket with black and maybe some brown booties too!

Winter Fashion Finds and Tips

I love every season because it gives me the opportunity to revamp my closet. I also have my go to classic pieces but that can get bland and boring. So I throw in a few fun pieces by adding different patterns, shapes, and mixing it all up in a new way. Have fun with it! That's the best part! Oh and don't forget to finish off your perfect outfit with a whole lot of confidence! Confidence is key!!

My March 2018 Styles

In the first photo, im wearing a CeCe from Nordstrom Rack for $4.47. Shockingly it is a size 10 and I am a size 16. It's important to consider oversized items in smaller sizes because, not only may it be cheaper, but it also opens you up to more options. It isn't always available but if you happen to spot something, trying it on won't hurt!

The 2nd photo is a white tank and J Crew gingham button down. $1 each at Goodwill. The shorts I made myself from some 50 cent jeans from Goodwill. Clearance days are $0.50-1 in most areas!

3rd photo: a 90s Tommy Hilfiger tee I nabbed for $1 with just the front tucked in to my favorite jeans.

In the 4th picture, I'm wearing a $3 dress from Walmart and a killer Ashley Nell Tipton leather jacket from a JC Penney going out of business sell I paid $12 for.

Last but not least, in the Easter bunny pic, I am in a Rainbow floral top I got for $5, my fave jeans which are a.n.a by JC Penney (they fit my curves so well and are super comfy), and of course, this White House Black Market jacket I picked up at Goodwill for $1.

I cannot stress shopping pre-owned enough! Not only does it save significant amounts of money, it is environmentally friendly! Hey, if you have the money or want something "new" new, go for it! But remember to donate those items when you're done! Recycle, reuse!

Day 3: Swimwear

Ok, I'm a size 16 and all my plus sized ladies out there know how stressful shopping can be for us....especially when you're looking for a swimsuit that your grandma doesn't wear!  I get all my swimsuits from sammydress.com

Now here's a hint to everyone wishing to purchase from this site: know your measurements!! All items are manufactured and shipped from China so here are a few things to remember:

1) They are sized smaller than the US. So, for example, if you typically wear an XL, you may need a 3X.

2) Like I said before, know your measurements! The site provides measurements for each size and each item. Follow their guidelines (and I suggest still sizing up one size from the chart too) and you'll be fine!

3) When buying anything with sleeves that fit to the body, please note that the sleeves are very tight so unless you have really thin arms, I would stick to loser fitting/sleeveless options.

4) Shipping could take weeks to even over a month so do NOT order anything you need within a deadline. There's a good chance, you'll miss it. The shipping time may only take 5-25 days but it may take them 2 weeks to process it before actually shipping. And orders with multiple items: they may all ship at different times

With all this being said, if you know what you're doing, you can get some amazing deals online!

This swimsuit I'm wearing was $13 (including shipping) from sammydress.com.  I am a size 16 and bought a 3X. The top could be bigger but I'm not complaining!

The second swimsuit is a high waisted black bikini with a fringe top. I also ordered this one from sammydress.com and paid only $14, including shipping. It fits perfectly!

Day 2: Black & Gold

Some thrift stores purchase clearance pallets from stores like Target and Kohl's.  This outift was one I picked up from my local Goodwill for a whopping total of $1! Both top and skirt were brand new!

Day 1: Something Quick

I had to run out for a doctor appointment and didnt want to take forever getting dressed. So...i grabbed this high low hem blouse and ripped athleisure jeans.

My entire outfit cost $7. I got both item, brand new with tags attached, at a local Goodwill. The blouse was 50% off so it was $2.25. I paid "full price" for the jeans at $4.75.

I dont normally wear these 2 together, but i needed to do laundry lol so I threw it on and it worked out! Normally i would wear a basic tee with the jeans for a laid back, casual look; and the blouse with some high waist shorts for a more boho look.
